"Hey Joseph! This is my sister. Her name is Kristin." And then Bryan turned and looked at his little sister and said, "Kristin, this is my friend Joseph."
It really warms my heart to see Bryan holding the hand of his little sister and going around his school to introduce her to his friends and teachers. Actually, it was more like he was parading his little sister around. I could almost hear the pride of a big brother from the tone of his voice.
Kristin is also certainly most ready for school, at least for the moment. Who knows what may happen when the actual first day of school arrives for her?
During the pick-up, she walked nonchalantly into Miss Sri's class and turned around to smile and wave! "Bye!", and off she went looking for new friends to play with.
But it was a hard time for Mommy again. They didn't want to come home. Kristin was following her new friends around and almost joined them in the gym, while Bryan wanted to stay in the library to read and worst of all, he wanted to leave with all the books he could find on the Magic School Bus. At present, the craze is fixated on the Magic School Bus.
